Our

story.

From this vision, 2night.it was born in November 2000—a website that quickly became the go-to reference for a generation of young people looking for the best nights out and venues.
This was just the first step in a journey that would never stop, later expanding with 2night Magazine, local free press publications that not only met the demand for information but also reflected Italian urban and nightlife culture.

But 2night didn’t settle for being just a media outlet. Thanks to a deep understanding of its audience and the nightlife scene, it evolved rapidly.
Alongside its editorial work, it developed a division dedicated to experiential marketing, allowing brands to engage directly with their audience.
Experiential projects and events became more than entertainment—they became unforgettable experiences leaving a lasting impact.

The founders—three of whom remained over the years: Simone Tomaello, Giorgio Govi, and Daniele Vian—were always driven to push boundaries.
Today, 2night is far more than a publisher and events company: it’s an idea lab, a creative hub generating unique brand experiences and continuing to tell millions of readers what to do 2night.

With over 100 employees, it blends creativity and innovation, combining intuition, ingenuity, and technology in a perfect alchemy.
Not just a pioneer, but a visionary organization in constant evolution.

In 1999, at a time when the first major American startups were taking shape, five students from the University of Padua found themselves in Boston for an exchange program.

Immersed in an environment where technology and innovation were reshaping the world, they came up with the idea of bringing their newly acquired skills back to Italy.
That’s how 2night was born, combining a desire to innovate with a passion for entertainment: creating something capable of answering the question, “What are you doing tonight?” for young Italian adults.

From the very beginning, 2night stood out, earning a prestigious award as part of Marsupium, an initiative by Cisco Systems and Sun Microsystems recognizing the most innovative projects. Shortly after, 2night received a significant capital investment, enabling its official launch.
